Turning A Team Around

Well I guess Dean Spanos and A. J. Smith really want to turn the Chargers around.

What better way to turn the team around, then to hire Norv Turner as
head coach, with a 58-82-1 record, to replace a guy with a 200-126-1
record. Hell the guy needs two 14 and 2 seasons just to get to .500. So
I guess after a couple of crappy sub 500 seasons, Dean and AJ will
complete the turn around and replace Turner with Art Schell, who I’d
bet will post a perfect season of 0-16.

I only hope the players can keep it together, and Norv can keep from
screwing up a team with a lot of great talent, Norv may be able to pull
off a Gruden, and win a Super Bowl with a team, he didn’t build, and if
happens, maybe he’ll have the decency to give Marty the credit, if not
the ring.

Don’t get me wrong Norv is a great Offensive Coordinator, just a crappy head coach.

PO’d about TO…

I have been meaning to write about this for a while…

The sports media is totally obssesed with TO’s antics on and off the
field, why don’t they just start treating him like any other moron that
runs on the field, cut away to something else. If they did that the
jackassary would end.

Although I do enjoy the pictures of him on the bench shortly after
dropping a crucial third and long pass that was right in the numbers,
you know the one with that look on his face and you know he’s thinking
“Thank God I’m the only jackass on this team”.
